“Engage. Respond. Influence.”
The College of the Social Integration State Agency and Riga Management College are pleased to invite practitioners, employers, service providers, students, and other interested parties to participate in the 16th International Scientific Conference “Engage. Respond. Influence.”, to be held online on 4 December 2025, from 10:00 to 15:00.
Traditionally, dedicated to the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the conference highlights the significance of equality, inclusion, and participation within society.
The overarching theme of this year’s conference is social responsibility and the power of engagement — values that unite individuals, educational institutions, employers, and communities, forming the foundation of an inclusive and sustainable society.
We invite you to reflect and discuss how our knowledge and actions shape a responsible society – how knowledge transforms into action, and how action influences public awareness.
Special attention will be given to the role of education and students’ contributions in promoting social responsibility – through research, project-based learning, civic initiatives, and personal experiences that demonstrate how students, with their ideas and energy, can inspire transformation in both society and the workplace.
The conference will be of particular interest to academics, policymakers, educators, career support specialists, students, social workers, and employers – to everyone who values participation, inclusive thinking, and a culture of responsible action.
The primary language of the conference will be Latvian, with simultaneous interpretation provided in English and Latvian sign language.
