Association of Colleges of Latvia
The goal of the association’s activities is to promote the development and improvement of colleges and higher education institutions that implement short-cycle professional higher education programs, to increase the efficiency of their activities.
During its activities, the Association of Colleges of Latvia has established active international cooperation with similar institutions in Europe and the USA, trying to popularize its work and taking over the best traditions and experience of its colleagues.
The Association of Colleges of Latvia was founded in 2002 and unites Latvian colleges founded by both public and private persons, as well as several higher education institutions, where college level study programmes are also implemented. Currently, the association has 23 members.

Social Entrepreneurship Association of Latvia
Social Entrepreneurship Association of Latvia (SEAL) is a non-governmental membership organisation with an aim to promote the development of social entrepreneurship in Latvia.
SEAL is responsible for the overall development and promotion of the social entrepreneurship ecosystem in Latvia, the representation of social entrepreneurship interests and capacity building of member organizations, the promotion of knowledge, skills and public information on social entrepreneurship. SEAL develops social entrepreneurship for long-term change in Latvia.
The goal of Riga Management College is to integrate aspects of socially responsible and social entrepreneurship into the study programme, promote understanding of social entrepreneurship criteria among students and other stakeholders, as well as promote the creation of an inclusive study environment.

Association of Latvian Travel Agents and Operators (ALTA)
The Association of Latvian Travel Agents and Operators (ALTA) is a professional organisation established in 1991, bringing together travel agents and tour operators. Its purpose is to coordinate cooperation within the tourism sector, protect the professional interests of its members, and represent the Latvian tourism industry both nationally and internationally.
The main areas of ALTA’s activities include:
- promoting the development of international and domestic tourism in Latvia;
- representing the professional and economic interests of the tourism sector;
- participating in the development of legislation affecting the tourism industry;
- fostering cooperation with Latvian and international tourism organisations and associations;
- promoting Latvia as a tourism destination abroad;
- representing the Latvian tourism industry at international tourism exhibitions and other professional events;
- providing consultancy support to its members and promoting professional ethics within the tourism industry.
ALTA is a member of the European Travel Agents’ and Tour Operators’ Associations (ECTAA).
Riga Management College (RMK) is an Associated Member of ALTA. Membership in the Association strengthens RMK’s cooperation with tourism industry professionals and employers, provides opportunities to follow current developments and trends in the sector, and enhances the connection between the study programme “Tourism Service Organisation” and the professional tourism environment.

Latvian Nature Tourism Association (LDTA)
The Latvian Nature Tourism Association (LDTA) is a professional non-governmental organisation that brings together nature tourism organisations in Latvia, represents the interests of its members at national and international level, and promotes the development of responsible nature tourism in Latvia.
The Association’s main activities include promoting cooperation between Latvian and international nature tourism organisations, participating in the development and implementation of tourism industry standards and certification, consulting members on nature tourism and event organisation, developing professional ethical principles, and promoting sustainable nature tourism practices.
Riga Management College is a member of the Latvian Nature Tourism Association. Membership strengthens RMK’s cooperation with professionals in nature and active tourism, provides access to current industry developments and sustainable tourism practices, and enhances the connection between the study programme “Tourism Service Organisation” and the practical tourism environment.
