On November 6 and 7 this year, college docent Ainars Brencis participates in the seminar
“Professional Education Topical Questions, Experience, Opportunities – Inspiration for Future Skills and Competitiveness”
organized by the State Agency for Education Development, the national Agency of Erasmus+ Latvia in the field of Education, Training and Sport.
The event is attended by project promoters and coordinators in the vocational education sector of the Erasmus+ programme,
teachers, managers and assistants of vocational education institutions, representatives of other vocational education institutions and organisations,
as well as cooperation partners.
Participants in the seminar shall have the opportunity to:
- learn about the current and future directions of European and Latvian vocational education policy,
- familiarise themselves with employers’ view of future skills,
- participate in discussions and working groups on microcertificates, Europass tools and career opportunities in the context of Erasmus+,
- draw inspiration from various project experience stories and a face-to-face visit to Riga State Tech,
- explore the opportunities offered by other financial instruments, such as Nordplus, for the development of vocational education.
